We believe that it is important for our birds to be raised in the best environment possible. Sunshine, fresh air, chemical free surroundings and loads of fresh organic vegetation is crucial in providing a near perfect place for our birds and we are proud to tell you that our birds are raised in such an environment. They in turn help us to graze the fields, controlling the growth of weeds.
Our birds are allowed to freely roam and forage for organic pasture besides the daily morning feast of all natural grains and fresh water. The birds get lots of natural vitamins and minerals directly from the natural vegetation and insects making them healthy and strong, helping them to develop immunity against diseases without the need for harmful drugs. We will not resort to regular, unnecessary use of antibiotics or hormones on our birds just for the sake of money, in addition no artificial food addictives are used as well. We are committed to raising 'healthy' food for our tables and that of yours.
All forms of pesticides and herbicides are banned on our land as these chemical are harmful to the environment. Without prejudices these poisonous substances which feature prominently in most commercial farms are hazardous to all living things and the use of these amongst other practices has resulted in many health issues confronting us today.
In summary, we believe that we are responsible for all that has been entrusted to us, our family, our friends, including the earth that we live in, it is just not right for us to exploit the resources wantonly without giving thought to the consequences of our actions. We further believe that it is possible to pursue a meaningful life and existence, working with nature, acting with conscience in making the world a better place for all to live in.
Our values and practices has resulted in excellent tasting, healthy and nutritious chickens. Our birds are kept for at least 3 months before we even consider them for processing.
